2011 Category – Christmas Cookies

Submit on Entry days: Monday August 15th 6-8 or Tuesday August 16th 10-6

Judging starts at 6:00 Tuesday August 16th

1. Contest open to any Minnesota resident 18 & older.

2. Entry must be cookies made from “scratch”.

3. A minimum of 1/4 cup sugar must be used in the recipe.

4. Entry must be submitted as 4 cookies on a disposable plate.

5. Recipes listing the ingredients, preparation instructions, and recipe author must be submitted with the entry, printed on one side of the page.

kids (8-17 years) contest rules are same as above.

Judging will be based on the following criteria:

a. Flavor 30 points

b. Overall appearance 25 points

c. Moistness and crumb/texture 15 points

d. Consistency (size & shape) 15 points

e. Creativity 15 points (appearance, ingredients, etc)

Total 100 points
